For this unforgettable project, I had the unique opportunity to be a part of a traditional Haldi ceremony at an Indian wedding, where I was invited to live-paint the bride and groom. Instead of the usual rituals, the couple wanted to make their celebration even more personal by involving their loved ones. Guests were invited to add their own brushstrokes to the painting, making it a true family creation.
I painted for about nine hours, capturing the energy of the ceremony and its participants. After the session, I carefully revised and cleaned up the artwork to present it during the evening’s wedding celebration by the beach. The experience was exhausting yet deeply rewarding, as it allowed me to connect with the couple and their guests in such a meaningful and interactive way. It was truly one of the most satisfying and fun projects I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of.
